Centre Of Excellence

We have a 10 year training history and as such, receive repeat and reciprocal business from companies in our area.

We pride ourselves in being a Centre of Excellence for guidance and Apprenticeship help and support, and the ground floor of our business premises is used as a Drop In Surgery for both people interested in becoming an Apprentice, and business interested in knowing more about the benefits of Apprenticeships.

Numerous strategies are used to engage with, and understand the needs of Employees

Having both a New Business Team and a Business Development Team, our pipeline of developing and nurturing business relationships is geared to the long term focus on delivering a Strategic Partner Alliance.

We appreciate that all companies have the option of using other training providers, and as such, we endeavour to go the extra mile by identifying Additional Added Value services that would be of benefit to learners and their Employers.

When firstly developing partnerships with new companies, we use a matrix of Information Gathering Openers to actively seek out which methods of training and which courses would be most beneficial to their Employees.

We also hold Business Forums for Managers/ Team leaders, and Training Cafes for Employees, so that names can be put to faces and questions can be asked in a setting that is both relaxed and informative.

We feel that it is vital to get the buy-in from the learners from the off-set, and credit our high retention rate to the time invested at this stage.

Training Implementation Plan

At MB Training, we have a Senior Advisor Team who produce a Training Implementation Plan which is developed before Enrolments. This structured timeline provides a focus for both MB and the college Assessor, the Employer and the learners. Before finalising the units within the training, our Senior Assessors will visit the business premises, and conduct a Business Preparation Plan.

Visiting the factory floor / office administration department / retail outlet etc. allows a first-hand review of the types of units that are going to be most beneficial to the learners.

Because we actively involve key members of their staff during this stage, the Employees feel both valued and involved in the process. This positive message filters out to the rest of the workforce, again ensuring future success rates.

The Implementation Plan is confirmed into a Business Training Contract, which is supported by the training Assessor and the company. Our commitment to professionally delivering relevant, vibrant and engaging training is clearly set out, and the companies’ buy-in to the whole process is once again confirmed.
