About

McCarton Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in developmental and autism care. The Foundation operates the McCarton Center Bronx, a leading provider of early-intervention services for infants and toddlers with autism and developmental delays in New York City.

Founded on the pioneering work of developmental pediatrician Dr. Cecelia McCarton, the Center delivers integrated, evidence-based clinical care during the most critical years of early childhood development. Services are provided at no cost to families and are designed to improve communication, social, and developmental outcomes for young children.

Since opening in 2018, the McCarton Center Bronx has served more than 2,000 children and families, delivering tens of millions of dollars in clinical services in one of the city’s highest-need communities. The organization is committed to ensuring equitable access to high-quality early-intervention services and to strengthening long-term stability for children and families in the Bronx.
