The company offers a tripartite network consisting of two large U.S. PPOs (PHCS and MultiPlan) and the first commercial globally integrated health delivery system®.  Together the three networks are combined to make up a global provider network covering the USA and 92 countries with over 800,000 hospitals, physicians, pharmacies, alternative health practitioners and ancillary facilities.  The three wrap together to offer employers and group health plan sponsors access to routine and emergency healthcare and health travel benefit management with full logistics coordination.

Other network services are available by contract to self-funded employers, insurers, third party administrators, union health and welfare benefit plans, and association plan sponsors. These include third-party claims administration, wellness program management, case management, disease management, healthcare predictive modeling, travel assistance, pharmacy benefit management, dependent audit, cost containment, claims audit, and out-of-network fee negotiation.

Where Mercury differentiates itself from traditional PPOs and insurers, is by using advanced tools and machine-learning and natural-language-processing techniques to analyze and manage medical records of its client plan participants. With the patient's consent, this provides our network clinicians ultimate access to patient’s entire relevant medical history on a globally-integrated scale via a simple to use cloud-based search engine.
