Michelle Watson was a member of the professional television training program at DCTV (Downtown Community Television). Throughout the program, Michelle demonstrated exceptional talent, diligence and creativity. Founded in 1972, DCTV is dedicated to the belief that expanding public access to the media invigorates our democracy. ​

​Michelle was selected for DCTV’S highly competitive flagship program, which train participants professional video production skills and commissions them documentary film projects. Through this program Michelle has produced documentaries that have been screened in over twenty nation film festivals, including Sundance film festival, and broadcast on public television and national satellite channels. ​

​After completing the video production program at DCTV, Michelle Watson later became a Success Coach for the Middle School department of a non-profit for youth organization in New York City. During that time, she taught students how to produce documentaries while creating a campaign for students to use film as an outlet to express the oppression they experience in their daily lives, a campaign that still exist in NYC public schools today.

Michelle was recently commissioned to Atlanta where she has worked along celebrity clients Young Jeezy (Atlantic Records), Jovanie (Atlanta Records), Bangledash (Grammy Award Winner), and singer and fashion designer Tammy Rivera.

​n addition to working with industry professionals, Michelle runs her own film studio where she teaching on-camera acting, improve and commercial acting to techniques. The success of the studio has been documented on CW, 11Alive, CBS, 95.4 FM, Atlanta Parent Magazine and more.
