In mid 80's a co-relation was made between Sleshma pitta & Migraine and an Ayurvedic Treatment Protocol (ATP) was developed. It comprises of Aahar (diet), Vihaar (lifestyle), Aushadh (Ayurvedic formulations - AFs). Such empirical success in the treatment of migraine were repeatedly seen between 1985 – 2002 in my clinical practice at Meerut. This led for the first prospective clinical study.
