About

MintEd, bringing motivational interviewing to education. We offer staff development training in a fresh, student-centred approach to improving self-motivation amongst students at schools and colleges. Originally used in counselling major lifestyle issues - addictive behaviour, drug abuse, etc.- motivational interviewing hands control back to the student by recognising and valuing their experiences and dilemas within the education system. This develops ownership, independence and the confidence required to make appropriate lifestyle choices. An essential tool for any professional working in pastoral care.
The training can be delivered in one or two sessions and teachers will practice their skills as they go.
