The SHAPE Card™ is the most secure match-on-card in the United States. The SHAPE Card uses a person's fingerprint to positively identify the individual. Once identity is ascertained, the SHAPE system authorizes access to information based on the roles and responsibilities assigned by the card issuing authority. The biometric fingerprint never leaves the card and the fingerprint does not become part of a database.
