Munns Oswald 470 Racing is a premier Olympic sailing team led by elite athletes Micky Munns and Cadance Oswald, training for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Competing in the mixed dinghy 470 class, they have already established themselves as top contenders, winning the 2024 U.S. 470 National Championship and the 2025 Midwinter Championship within months of forming their partnership.
Guiding them on this journey is world-renowned coach Yevgeniy Burmatnov, a two-time Olympian and one of the top 470 coaches in the world. With over 40 years of experience in competitive sailing, boat building, and coaching, Burmatnov provides the high-level expertise needed to achieve Olympic success.
The team is supported by Windmark Sailing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that backs elite Olympic sailors with proven results at major regattas. Windmark covers coaching expenses, select equipment, vehicles, gas, and housing while training on Long Island, NY.
