Montoya Industries is the latest creative venture of Christian Montoya, an award-winning app designer and developer and also a semi-professional musician and DJ. I was inspired to build GIF Jockey after years of playing concerts with VJs. I observed that the software they relied on was often expensive and/or extremely difficult to use. GIF Jockey represents a new approach to VJ software, designed to be deceptively simple and lightweight enough to run on standard hardware (even mobile phones).

My past work includes apps like No More Kings (one of CNET’s best mobile games of Sept. 2015) and Draw Something (one of the fastest-growing mobile games of all time) as well as working with gaming and music tech companies including Blend.io, turntable.fm and SGN.
