About

Moorland Plastics, a supported employment facility within the borough of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We provide employment for people with disabilities and offer collaborative training within the age range of 14-19.

Our core business is the production of plastic components and products. We have a a 42,000 square foot manufacturing base with a range of machinery capable of producing plastic injection moulding, vacuum forming, assembly and packaging.

Examples of our work include the design and producing of mine shafts retainers, and recently we’ve produced the ancillaries which hold together the last ever tea clipper, the Cutty Sark.
