Muka Design Lab is an award winning industrial design studio from the Basque Country in Northern Spain that specializes in slow design to create furniture, consumer goods and home appliances with character. Founded by Lucas Abajo and Laxmi Nazabal, a designer duo that represents young talent with a modern aesthetic and respect for design and materials. Muka believes in "slow design" and works with talented local artisans and craftsmen to design everyday objects people love. Their original concepts including Reves Chair, the Balea Collection or Cloud Colander have been proudly featured in Architectural Design, Fast Company, Dezeen, Archi Expo, El País and awarded at international design expos from Milan to Los Angeles.
