Dubai, 06/03/2008- SNS, a leading supply chain services provider is proud to announce that it has signed a contract for the implementation of the Infor WMS provided by SPAN Group and an integration solution with Orion ERP at AlBayader, a leading manufacturer and distributor of disposable products in the UAE with regional branches in Qatar and Oman.
With a total storage area of 20,000 sqm, Al Bayader was looking for a full fledged solution that would enable it to optimize its warehousing processes, facilitate logistic operations, reduce export costs, ensure better service to its regional branches within GCC countries. Therefore, Al Bayader opted for the services provided by SNS for its expertise and competency in the field of Supply Chain.
In the event of the presence of raw materials and finished goods, a special attention is to be paid in terms of batch tracking and the exceptional storage requirements. The best of breed solution combined with SNS in depth knowledge of warehousing best practices will ensure that Al Bayader will achieve its objectives on maximizing the efficiency and efficacy of their supply chain processes.
The project will include a warehouse management solution along with an integration solution with Al Bayaderâ??s ERP, Orion and consultancy services on operation and distribution. This project is to be completed in two phases: the first implementation will take place at Al Bayaderâ??s new distribution center in Jebel Ali, and the second one at its current warehouse at Sharjah.
