About

Founded in 1978, the Northern California Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting minority participation in the procurement process. NCMSDC is an affiliate of NMSDC, Inc., a national organization comprised of 38 regional councils with a combined constituency of over 15,000 certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) suppliers and 3,500 corporate members, including most of America’s largest publicly-owned, privately-owned, and foreign-owned companies, as well as universities, hospitals, and other buying institutions.

NCMSDC’s mission is to provide MBEs in Northern California and Hawaii with nationally-recognized certification and to connect corporate members with NCMSDC-certified minority suppliers.  In addition, we assist our certified MBEs in developing business opportunities with corporations, universities, healthcare entities, and government agencies.
