About

Our Mission:

To prevent and reduce the growing rate of homelessness in Central Florida, by equipping individuals and families with proper tools to become self-sufficient through Housing, Outreach, Awareness and Educational Programs.

Vision

NDCO is to address issues that individuals endure everyday by networking with local agencies and organizations to become more effective in solving crisis issues affecting individuals and families.

New Directions Community Outreach, Inc. (NDCO) was started in 2004 by Debra Thomas as a feeding program for homeless people in Seminole County, Florida. Each year, the rate of families and children living in poverty rapidly increases. As a result, NDCO expanded. In order to better assist individuals in need, it strives to offer a multitude of activities and tools as well as began providing additional resources and programs to those in need.

To its clients who are suffering economically and emotionally, NDCO combines life skills training and development with compassionate services and nurturing relationships that serve as the basis for a better community

It has been the goal of NDCO's  founder to leave a legacy of godly love and practical case for those in need, a reminder of God's compassion for the poor.  Building upon that legacy, today the organization strives to grow from small beginning and to a large societal force in the community.

NDCO continues to strengthen its commitment to provide compassionate services and to rise up a new generation of extraordinary leaders. Through volunteers and generous support from donors, the legacy of service and transforming lives and communities will grow.
