Mountain Adventure Trekking (P) Ltd, an Adventure Travel and Tour Company, was registered in the Department of Industry and Department of Tourism of Government of Nepal in 1983. The company, based in Kathmandu and being run by Mr. Deepak B. Roka since its establishment, has been recognized as one of the highly professional trekking and tour companies in Nepal as is featured in High, and English monthly Magazine in September 1990, and Zaobao, a weekly from Singapore in March 6, 1994. David Reed, the author of "The Rough Guide" published in a travel book entitled Nepal has recommended Mountain Adventure Trekking as "Mountain Adventure Trekking aims to provide the flexibility sought by independent travelers visiting Nepal. Whilst we offer a variety of pre - defined trekking, river rafting and wildlife safari itineraries, these need not be undertaken as rigid program".
