About

New Girl Pictures LLC is a production company founded by Laura Hunter Drago and Samantha Macher. The company, based in Los Angeles, focuses on creating content for and by women.

Our first feature film, To the New Girl, premiered at the TCL Chinese 6 in Hollywood to rave reviews and was given the Women in Media Gender Parity Badge. The film screened at numerous festivals and won awards for Best Feature for a First Time Filmmaker and Best Writing at the Queen Palm Festival. The film is currently streaming on platforms worldwide.

We have also created short films as well as a scripted podcast, and are currently developing a handful of feature film scripts.
