Nick Bishani started working with Farmers Insurance Company in November of 2008 because he felt a desire to protect individuals from the unexpected. “My wish is that nobody would have to utilize insurance, but I am happiest when I can help put people’s lives back together.”

Born January 8, 1983 in the small town Pogradec, Albania which is situated on the shores of Ohrid Lake, Mr. Bishani learned early in life about hard work and protecting one’s assets. His family had built one of the most exclusive hotels in Albania named Lyhnidas Hotel which Mr. Bishani learned to manage eventually making all of the major decisions rewarding the hotel with great financial growth. While managing the Lyhnidas, Mr. Bishani moved to the capital city of Tirana to attend the State University of New York majoring in finance. In addition to studying finance at the University, Mr. Bishani opened a sports entertainment venue which allowed patrons to wager on the popular professional soccer matches and other sporting contest.
After his studies, Mr. Bishani desired to make his name on his own merits. The only logical choice was to come to America, The Land of Opportunity. Coming to the United States without any money, Mr. Bishani started working as a waiter in a local Italian restaurant in Denton, Texas. After three months in his new country, he earned a job working as a salesman for Lute Riley Honda in McKinney, Texas.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Mr. Bishan studied at Kaplan University in order to obtain his licenses to practice insurance. After passing his exam, he was sought after by all of the top insurance companies. Carefully reviewing each company, he decided Farmers Insurance would help him meet his clients’ needs the best and has been with them since Novemeber of 2008.
During his career with Farmers, Mr. Bishani finds his happiness (serving his clients’ needs) and sadness (seeing misfortunes happen). Mr. Bishani has earned the Diamond Level, the highest level for a carrier agent; Blue Vase, for Life Production; Toppers Club; and was the first agent in Texas who achieved the Cornerstone Reward which honors the Top Producer for Life Insurance. Currently, Mr. Bishani is on pace to be honored for the coveted Championship and Toppers Achievement.
Nick Bishani truly has passion for his job, and will take care of his clients just like they were his family. He is hard working and focuses on all of his clients’ needs. . He is a part of his community and loves organizing events showcasing Albanian singers, teaching kids, and sponsoring soccer teams.
