Nomad GCS

Nearly two decades ago, Nomad GCS was founded by four friends who wanted to make a difference. Brothers Will and Seth Schmautz, along with fellow river raft guides Shane Ackerly and Clay Binford saw a need for improved connectivity to remote Montana wildfire lines. In 2002, the group built its first communications trailer in an old barn in the Flathead Valley and never looked back.

Today, Nomad designs and manufactures the world’s best-connected mobile command and communication solutions. From nimble tactical vehicles to comprehensive command centers (and all points between), the company provides best-in-class products for government agencies, utilities, law enforcement, military, first responders, and private companies.
