About

Len Norten brings a wealth of experience and expertise from his over four-decade business career. Originally hailing from the Chicago area growing up playing several sports and working his way through college, Len's journey began academically, earning a BS in Economics and an MBA, before honing leadership skills with roles with renowned Fortune 500 companies like American Airlines, John Deere, Cisco Systems, and American Express, accumulating many successes and valuable lessons along the way.

However, Len's entrepreneurial spirit flourished when he assumed the roles of CFO and COO at a small mobility dealer. Under his leadership, the business expanded exponentially, growing from one to ten locations across four states. This remarkable achievement solidified its position as one of the nation's premier mobility dealers, driven by a customer-centric ethos and strategic acquisitions amidst industry consolidation. Surpassing expectations, the business was sold to a private equity firm in just eight years, a testament to Len's vision and execution.

Fueled by his passion for helping small business owners, Len founded Norten Consulting in 2018, dedicating himself to coaching and consulting endeavors. Through his guidance, numerous clients have witnessed transformative improvements in their businesses. Len has also served as an Adjunct Professor, imparting his wisdom by teaching business courses, and actively contributing to various nonprofit boards, embodying his commitment to giving back to the community. With a blend of expertise, experience, and a heart for service, Len continues inspiring and empowering entrepreneurs on their journey with this latest book, "How to Manage Your Small Business".
