About |
Not Pink is an iOS app that gives couples a shared space to plan and live out the experiences they keep talking about. Every entry, whether a trip, a creative project, or a small experiment, moves through four phases together: Align, Planning, Prepare, and Relive.
Partners pair via invite code and share one space. They swipe through a curated idea library to surface what they both want, then confirm together before each phase advances. This replaces the flat-checklist format used by other bucket list apps with a structure that fits how couples actually decide on, prepare for, and remember the things they do together.
Couples can skip phases when they just want to get something on the calendar, or run the full sequence for the trips and projects that matter. The Relive phase keeps photos, notes, and reflections from completed adventures, so the app becomes a living record of shared experiences over time rather than a list that gets cleared.
Not Pink is built for couples 28 and older who already know each other's coffee order and would rather plan their next trip together than answer another daily relationship quiz. The app ships in nine languages on day one: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, and Korean.
Founded by Thomas Flad, a solo indie developer based in Kornwestheim, Germany. Thomas spent roughly a decade in mobile engineering, most recently as engineering manager at YAZIO, one of Europe's largest nutrition apps, before leaving full-time employment in January 2026 to build Not Pink independently.
Not Pink is free to download from the App Store. Full access is available for $9.99 per month or $45.99 per year, with a 14-day trial included on the annual plan.
