About

The National Premier Soccer League is entering its 8th year in 2012 and is currently made up of over 60 clubs who have made a commitment to providing high quality soccer in their local community.

As our league continues to grow every year, we are consistently looking to expand  throughout the United States, allowing us to construct new conferences and create a regional focus for all of the teams involved.

Although the NPSL is affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), and qualifies for the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup through USASA channels, the league is considered to be the fourth tier of competition in the American Soccer Pyramid, behind Major League Soccer (MLS), the North American Soccer League (NASL) and United Soccer Leagues Pro (USL Pro).

What Makes the NPSL Unique?

-Professionally operated teams

-Teams comprised of players holding amateur playing status (high school, collegiate and former professional athletes)

-Players maintain college eligibility and play at an elite level with a mix of young and veteran players

-Showcase for players who aspire to move to the professional level

-Owners of the teams comprise the ownership and operation of the league

-Low entry cost and low annual dues for league membership

-Extremely competitive league structure
