About the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink
The National Skills Academy for Food & Drink is part of Improve Limited, the skills council for the UK food and drink manufacturing sector.
The National Skills Academy (http://foodanddrink.nsacademy.co.uk) is a single source of training for the food and drink sector – and if your business is lacking the skills it needs, we have a training solution to help. The right training can increase production, improve productivity and could be invaluable to your business.
Our courses and qualifications are delivered by our network of approved food and drink training specialists, which include universities, colleges and private institutions, all with proven results throughout the food and drink industry – a key requirement of being accepted into the Academy.
The Academy was set up in 2007 to support Food manufacturing businesses by providing specialist training to Food and Drink manufacturing staff - thereby driving up the productivity and competitiveness of the UK Food and Drink manufacturing Industry.
Specialist training organisations that are Academy members undergo rigorous quality checks and include both publicly and privately funded learning centres. Each delivers some aspect of skills development for the food and drink manufacturing industry as a whole, and/or specialist skills for one of its various sub-sectors.
