The brainchild of brewer Aaron Gervais and beer expert Stellar Cassidy, Otherwise Brewing was founded to produce beers of uncompromising flavor and quality using solely gluten-free ingredients. Otherwise is San Francisco's first gluten-free brewery, and it launched in February 2021. The brewery covers the entire range of traditional and modern beer styles, but makes them with alternative gluten-free ingredients, including rice, millet, and buckwheat. This approach lends the beers unique and delicious flavors that help them stand out from the competition while still remaining true to style.
