Physical education teacher and Sport conditioning coach. Master degree in physical education and sport .
20 years experience of teaching, training and coaching (athletes, business people and celebrities), author.
I am a sport and conditioning coach. I have been working as a physical education teacher (Master degree in Physical education, France), then as a strength and conditioning coach in the fitness and athletic fields. I have now a 20 years experience working with people from different areas: professional athletes, celebrities, business people…I was also an elite kayaker for 10 years (national french team) in slalom and downriver.
Between 1995 and 2002, I have been working in Los Angeles, coaching athletes: I have been involved with one of the biggest name in the boxing business, Oscar de la Hoya, as his strength and conditioning trainer. Since I have been working with many professional fighters (mostly in boxing and kickboxing), among them several European and World Champions.
Back for a few years in France, I published two books and several e-books on my French websites. In 2007, I finally got my Green card and decided right away to move to the US with my family. We spent 2 years in Pennsylvania where I developed a successful corporate fitness bootcamp program; then we moved again and we choose to settle in Carbondale, Colorado.

The gym is not like any typical gym. There are no yearly memberships for training anytime, you come to train at specific times according to the gym workouts schedule.
The gym is a « school » of athletic fitness.
We teach and train from the basics to elite levels. The programs are based on functional fitness, from re-conditioning and weight loss to athletic conditioning.

Elite Performance Training:
Program design with periodization: periodization has been the russian secret for many years and I have been used these techniques with several World Champions, including Oscar de la Hoya. Strength and total body conditioning are the keys for high performance, we use the latest techniques and strategies to improve functional power, speed and specific endurance.

Athletic Performance for young athletes:
We focus on functional movements. A young athlete needs to learn how to master his/her own body weight: body weight exercises are the basics for developing power and agility. Circuit training are full body training and includes floor exercises, rope climbing, suspension training (rings, TRX); we use also some functional tools like medicine balls, weight lifting and kettlebells (we focus on technique first!). Core and total body conditioning are the goals. The workouts are usually  in small groups, but private sessions are also possible.

Bootcamps:
Group training are great for motivation. It can be intense but you’ll never push over your limits. The workouts are total body conditioning, including a lot of core exercises. These workouts are high energy and fun; you’ll lose body fat, tone your entire body, increase flexibility and agility. These workouts are for all levels
