Pita Chip was started in Philadelphia by co-founder and head chef Omar Alsaadi, who grew up cooking in Damascus, Syria, before making Philly home. He calls it "Modern Middle Eastern" — rooted in the street food flavors he grew up with, shaped by the multicultural city he lives in now. Everything is prepped daily at a single kitchen and distributed fresh to all four locations (Temple, University City, Yardley, and Comcast Concourse).
