Playa Animal Rescue is a no-kill animal shelter located in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Playa Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and abandoned dogs, and to finding permanent, loving homes for each of them. Although the primary focus is on dogs, Playa Animal Rescue works with other local and international animal rescue organizations to get help for cats and kittens in need. Playa Animal Rescue is also dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership with community outreach and education, as well as promoting spaying and neutering of pets.  Founders are from Mexico, the United States and Canada and all have a passion for solving the street dog problems in the Playa Del Carmen area.
