Alter Enterprise began in 2004 with a focus on wildlife management. Our remote camera systems, web enabled bear dens and automated bear traps required a talented, technological super star who was not afraid to play with electronics in the middle of the wilderness.
One of the major obstacles to overcome when installing technology into the woods is -How on earth are we going to power it? Solar power quickly became the best option. Since these energy systems were located in remote areas it was difficult to check on the solar arrays on a regular basis. This is why our energy monitoring system was born. Alternet Energy billing software is the result of many years of redefining the essentials necessary in an energy monitoring system.
Education has always been a driving factor in our company and our success. Over the past nine years we have collected large amounts of data on various wildlife and energy systems. We share our knowledge with the world by providing video education. We have reached over 15 states and 3 countries with our national standard curriculum.
