Primeplus Norfolk Senior Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to be the pre-eminent focal point for services, activities, and information addressing the needs and interests of older adults in South Hampton Roads, Virginia.
For almost fifty years Primeplus Norfolk Senior Center has been a vibrant, essential component of the lives of seniors and we are located in Norfolk, Virginia. Our Active Adult Program provides fitness classes, nutrition programs, education and healthcare screenings to help seniors enhance their quality of life while aging independently in their homes, rather than in a nursing care facility. The Center also offers Adult Day Service for seniors who need special assistance or supervision during the day, including those with Alzheimer's and/or dementia. This program provides support for caregivers who need to maintain their employment, take care of other family responsibilities and themselves while keeping the family intact.
