The Princess Project Giveaway Days Now Open

San Francisco non-profit hopes to provide 1000 prom dress to Bay Area teens

The 13th annual Princess Project San Francisco Giveaway Days will begin Sunday, March 1 at 2099 Market St. in San Francisco. The 2015 Open Giveaway Days are March 1, March 7, March 15 and March 21.

Interested teens only need a student ID to participate and can sign up for their appointment at Book Now. To learn more about what is needed, visit http://www.princessprojectsf.org/get-a-dress.html.

The Princess Project has supplied over 20,000 dresses and accessories since 2002 to Bay Area high school students who might not otherwise be able to attend Prom. Last year, the San Francisco chapter provided over 2000 dresses to teens in need.

Volunteers who are eager to help set up, outfit teens with prom dresses or find the perfect accessory can sign up for a spot at Volunteer Spot. Shifts run from 9am until 6pm. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and out of high school.
