All testing machines developed by PSI conform to national and international standards, including BIS, BS, ASTM, DIN, JIS, and EN specifications. Despite strong competition from larger organizations, PSI has successfully established itself with Defence and Railway establishments, regional engineering colleges across India, private testing houses, small, medium, and large-scale industries, and laboratories operated by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR).
