About

The Puget Sound Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is the premier professional association for project managers, program managers, portfolio managers, and PMO leaders in the Pacific Northwest. With a membership of professionals across diverse industries—including technology, healthcare, aerospace, government, and education—the chapter is dedicated to advancing the practice, science, and profession of project management.

Our mission is to provide resources, education, and networking opportunities that empower members to excel in their careers while driving project success within their organizations. We host monthly chapter meetings, professional development workshops, mentoring programs, networking sessions, and our flagship annual Professional Development Days conference.

The Puget Sound PMI chapter is committed to fostering leadership, innovation, and collaboration in the field of project management. We emphasize continuous learning and certification support (including PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP, PfMP, and PMO-CP), as well as exploring emerging topics such as Agile, AI in project management, and digital transformation.

Through community engagement, strategic partnerships, and outreach to local businesses, universities, and government agencies, the chapter supports the growth of project management as a vital discipline for the region’s economic and professional advancement.
