Seopa Ltd was established in 2003 as a Search Engine Optimisation company for the financial services industry. In 2005, without any external funding, Seopa developed its online financial comparison engine, Quotezone.co.uk, and entered in to the insurance price comparison industry. The company also became a FSA authorised and regulated financial intermediary. Seopa does not have ties to any broker or insurer as it is independently owned. Quotezone is now one of the leading aggregators in the personal lines insurance market for UK consumers.
Quotezone offers quote comparison facilities for car, van, motorcycle, home, travel, pet and breakdown insurance, as well as having business relationships for various financial products. In October 2009, Seopa launched Northern Ireland’s first insurance price comparison website, www.compareni.com.
Despite an increasingly competitive environment, Quotezone continues to strengthen its place in the market, and with over 40 price comparison websites in the UK, we estimate Quotezone is ranked number 5 in terms of online quote volumes.
