Remote Consulting Technologies Incorporated was founded in 2006 as a division of Carpool Network USA, LLC by Forrest Ward who is the CEO and owner. It resulted primarily from the owner’s initial efforts in creating a membership based website focused on providing carpooling and ride for a day services to its members nationwide while maintaining his job as a mainframe applications developer.
With over 26 years in the IT industry as an applications developer, Forrest decided to take his mainframe applications development and systems analysis skills and put them to use in other computing environments.
The focus is, and has always been, on delivering ‘enterprise class‘ applications to the mainframe, web, client-server and mobile platform environments that meet or exceed industry standards of excellence.
While mobile development is somewhat new to RCTI, the concepts of systems design and analysis for designing complex applications based on industry standard ‘best practices’ has led to the use of ‘cross-platform development tools’ to deliver consistent results across multiple operating system platforms.
Strict adherence to industry standards for SDLC (systems development life cycle) is the backbone of the theology that RCTI practices in all application system development projects. QA, quality assurance testing and user verification is also a strategic part of the development process for RCTI with the customer being kept informed about the status of their project every step of the way.
Delivering ‘easy to maintain’ application systems source code, RCTI developed applications insure that making future enhancements and platform migrations are straightforward and eliminate unnecessary work or duplication of efforts.
