Readancers.com provides self-publishing authors and literary freelance service providers a single marketplace where services can be contracted and provided in a safe and secure manner.

For no charge, self-publishing authors can post assignments on the project listing board specific to the services they seek, (i.e. proofreading, editing, audio book narration, etc.). Literary freelancers can bid on available assignments, allowing the author to choose the freelancer that best suits their experience and budget needs. Using PayPal for secure transactions, the site utilizes an escrow system allowing freelancers to begin work, while assuring the contracting author that funds will be only released upon successful project completion.

Readlancers.com does not charge membership fees for either the self-publishing author or literary freelancer, nor do they charge for a basic project listing. Only a nominal fee is collected from the freelance service provider at the time of project completion.
