The Cincinnati Computer Cooperative is a non-profit organization that serves the Greater Cincinnati community by providing secure, environmentally responsible computer recycling services to business and individuals, and refurbished computers to low income families, schools and other non-profit organizations. We depend upon business and individual donations of used computer equipment to supply refurbished computers for low income families, students, schools, and other non-profit organizations.
The Cincinnati Computer Cooperative handles all recycled equipment in a secure, environmentally safe, and legally compliant manner. All equipment is evaluated and every hard drive is wiped of all data or physically destroyed. Equipment that is suitable for reuse is directed to the refurbishing department. Broken or obsolete items and other components are separated and sent to ethical recyclers for remanufacture into new products.
Products accepted include desktop and laptop computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, copiers, faxes, wires and cables, cell phones, servers, networking equipment, and any internal computer components.
