About

Red Barn Media, a Massachusetts production group, announced today that after many years of exhaustive research, investigation, and many obstacles, it is finally shooting its indie feature teen horror film this Fall called “Dudleytown Curse – the 49th Key” - about the infamous and cursed village of Dudleytown, Connecticut.   The indie horror film, based on a story which Red Barn Media calls the "utterly terrifying incidents" at Dudleytown, Connecticut, begins shooting October 23, 2011.

Red Barn has entirely retooled the project from a previously bigger budgeted scripted pic to a very small budget grassroots, retroscripted guerilla homemade movie style film.  Doug Kirkpatrick, one of the Producers of the film, and an entertainment and production attorney, says that the project will use elements of an original script previously written about Dudleytown, but that actors will primarily improv scenes – a method which was employed in the hugely successful “Blair Witch Project”.
