WEB SERIES: RED CIRCLES (SEASON 2) PREMIERE
RI Student-Organized Web-Series Premieres Second Season

Creator and Director Seth Chitwood (of Barrington, RI) to premiere the second season of his web-series: Red Circles on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 at 9:00pm on youtube.com/redcircles1425. (Season 1 can also be seen at www.redcircles.ws/episodes.php)

Red Circles is an original web series about detectives trying to solve a series of murders that mirror each other. When Det. Sophie Arlington (Corey Arruda) discovers a woman covered in blood in her shower, as well as that woman's dead brother in the backyard, she later learns that similar events occurred in the house two decades earlier; and also that Sophie's father, Det. J. Arlington (special guest star Frank O'Donnell), was the lead detective on the case. She eventually comes to the realization that that may have been the case her that led to her father’s suicide.

Meanwhile, Det. Arlington is haunted by the ghosts of past victims as she tries to stop a serial killer who has his disturbing secrets of his own. The series genre is a horror/mystery/drama and the material is not suitable for children; parental discretion is advised.

The series stars; Corey Arruda (Warwick, RI), Mathew Lacombe (Barrington, RI), Sophie Kreyssig (Richmond, RI), Julian Trilling (Providence, RI), and Paul Kandarian (Taunton, MA) (see next page for full cast list). Seth Chitwood, co-founder of Angelwood Pictures, began creating student organized films since 2008. A ’09 graduate of Barrington High School and current triple major (Film Studies, Musical Theater, and Communication) student at Rhode Island College.

Chitwood has created, director, and produced several films under his production company. His first web-series; The Dreamer featured a cast of 35 students. His latest series, Red Circles, includes a cast of all different ages from RI, MA, and NY. Chitwood is also working on another web-series scheduled to premiere in February 2012, called World’s Worst Director.

Red Circles is scheduled for eleven episodes, premiering every Sunday at 9:00pm. The series has also been renewed for a third season and is scheduled to premiere in late May.
