Prior to your arrival, the "Family Planner" that allows you to create your own itinerary for an exciting adventure vacation. Each day, you will be assigned professional and licensed guides to take you on your private guided adventures. You’ll have the opportunity as a group to decide from the list of guided adventures to participate in each day. There's nothing like having your head hit the pillow, your body  in a state of happy exhaustion because you’ve worked and played to the best of your ability.

Imagine watching your child's face light up as they swing in the air, coming as close as they can to flying like a bird or seeing the confidence they find when they conquer their doubts and climb up on a horse and ride through the forest. Your kids get to explore their wildest dreams of play from swimming with fish to painting horses to climbing up a wall. Kids can learn how to fish, kayak, shoot a bow and arrow, ride a horse and even feel what it's like to be a flying squirrel.We'll keep them safe so they can play to their heart's delight.You are welcome to join in the kids fun or wander off to find your own adventures in play.

At Red Horse Mountain Ranch, the perfect all-inclusive family vacation is just an hour's drive south of beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Red Horse Mountain Ranch has plenty of western flair. You'll be staying in authentically furnished private log cabins to enjoy the 300,000 acres with your children. During the summer, an average of 6 families have the ranch at their fingertips with more than 60 horses and a staff of 40. The list of available adventures is seemingly endless during a week stay and includes horseback riding, kayaking, challenge course, fly fishing lessons and trips, whitewater rafting, sporting clays, mountain biking, fishing ponds, 3D archery trails, wholesome meals and family friendly evening entertainment.

Most importantly is your vacation. At Red Horse Mountain YOU choose your guided adventures with our unique Family Planner itinerary builder. And with our famous Kid's Program, parents can choose to take on the adult adventures during their week and know their children,  will be well cared for and have their own adventures at a child's pace. You'll meet back at lunch and dinner and hear all of the exciting adventures they were able to accomplish with our seasoned crew of Kid's Counselors. In the morning, you'll rise to the smells of fresh pastries, hot coffee, and be set with your guides for another unforgettable day.
