Our History Rhiza Labs was developed as a project of
MAYA Design, the interdisciplinary design and research firm that developed the distributed database software that powers the Information Commons. MAYA's last spin-off company, Viz, was recently acquired by General Dynamics to deploy information collaboration technology developed at MAYA Design across all sectors of the military.
Our Team Rhiza Labs was founded by a team of seasoned entrepreneurs, non-profit professionals, human scientists, visual designers and engineers who share a core mission of strengthening communities.
