“Do You Love Us Now?” is a compelling plea to fans to rekindle their enthusiasm for Detroit and the Detroit Lions football team. Since we have been so close to victory for the past few years it makes sense that this is our year to bring the trophy home, as the lyrics imply.
“I wanted the song to have an anticipating, driving mood that will rally the fans to victory,” says Robert Smiler. “The song attempts to rise above the prior losses, near misses, doubts, pressures and the tensions that we’ve experienced from games past. The Detroit Lions team keeps coming back to win. With all their hard work so far, Do You Love Us Now?” says Smiler.
