Atlanta based author, humorist, and speaker, Rob Wilson, writes under his full name Robert Evans Wilson, Jr., to distinguish himself from the plethora of Wilsons who share the first names of Robert, Rob and Bob.
Rob is an award-winning writer and speaker who works with companies that want to be more competitive through innovation, and with people who want to live more courageously by thinking more creatively. He has delivered keynote speeches in 44 states and Canada to a wide variety of associations and corporations.
He is the author of the internationally syndicated column on human motivation: The Un-Comfort Zone which runs in more than 200 publications. Each month Rob explores the many aspects of personal empowerment: self-motivation, creative-thinking, critical-thinking, leadership, bullying, how to deal with change, and how to deal with fear. Plus, he shows how to apply these skills in a competitive business environment.
Wilson is also a regular contributor to Psychology Today with his blog The Main Ingredient. https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/the-main-ingredient
Rob is co-author of the wildly funny book: OFF THE WALL! The Best Graffiti Off The Walls Of America, an illustrated collection of bathroom graffiti. He and his co-author Ken Frankel have been guests on more than 100 radio shows in the US and Canada.
Rob is the author of the following books: a humorous children's novel The Annoying Ghost Kid, which is about a ten year old boy and girl who are bullied by a ghost. As a children's author, Rob routinely visits elementary schools where he talks about the creative process, gives animated readings from his book, and teaches kids how to deal with bullies; the inspirational book: Wisdom in the Weirdest Places; the psychological mystery novel about a motion picture director: ...and Never Coming Back; and the newly released book on expanding your creativity: Everyday Innovation: Enjoying the Creative Lifestyle for Fun & Fortune
As the owner of Rob Wilson Direct Response Advertising and PR, Rob has served dozens of companies since 1992. He is the winner of hundreds of advertising awards, but he is most proud of winning eight Southstars (which are awarded for more than great creativity - they must increase the client company's revenue first) from the American Marketing Association/Direct Marketing Association.
