A one of a kind event celebrating alteranative life and culture, the Rocket Festival is a dynamic arts and music event that has served as a platform for both established and up and coming artists. The only festival of its kind in southern Spain, this year celebrated the third edition of The Rocket Festival, inviting a combination of Spanish and international talents. The Rocket Festival begain in 2005 by a combination of three Brighton-based soundsystems and party organisers who have worked with the electronic music scene's most establishd artists. They are Innerfield, Planet Yes and Turbozone. Together, using their contacts from the music scenes in Bristol, Brixton and Brighton, they created the Rocket Festival, which continues this year, following on from the success of the previous two editions.

More than just a non-stop music event, the Rocket Festival features an inspiring fusion of performances spanning theatrical spectaculars to live art from some of the world’s most notorious graffiti artists. Themed bars and venues, fire dancers, a kids’ space, natural living area, daredevil extreme sports and an outdoor Circus Stage featuring tightrope jugglers, trapeze artists and film and art installations, create an awe-inspiring three-day extravaganza of fun for all the family.

The site itself spreads across 15-hectares of farmland transformed into a surreal landscape of towering alien sculptures created from welding machines by renowned UK free festival renegades, Wrekon (Mutoid Waste). With the myriad of sound systems, live artists and performers scattered throughout the site, the Rocket Festival is a unique celebration inspired by potent levels of creative energy and will quench the thirst of adventurous culture vultures and spirited festival aficionados alike.
