Pregnancy Information Center is a 501(c)3, non-profit, pregnancy resource center affiliated with CareNet.  It operates under the strict guidelines and high standards set by CareNet for pregnancy resource centers. PIC is motivated by the principles of community service and outreach that is based in a Non Denominational faith perspective. It employs 3 full time and 3 part time staff and is 90% volunteer driven.

PIC’s mission and purpose is to empower this generation and defend the next generation. This objective is reached by supporting and educating men and women dealing with an unplanned pregnancy and empowering them to make life affirming choices for themselves and their families. By providing specific free and confidential services and partnering with other local ministries, churches and other organizations they are able to bring a holistic approach to meeting the needs of individuals and families. PIC does not refer for or perform abortion services.

PIC serves families throughout Kane and Kendall Counties. Geographical location is not a basis for service.

In 2012 PIC provided services during 782 client visits.

PIC provides the following Free and Confidential Services in both English and Spanish:  

•     Pregnancy testing
•     Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound
•     Factual pregnancy options information
•     Post abortion support
•     STD/STI Education
•     Community resources
•     Emotional and mentoring support programs
o     Dads for Dads
o     parenting and life skills classes
o     bible studies if desired
•     “Earn as you Learn” Materials Assistance program through Sharon’s Place

PIC hours of operation:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-4pm
Tuesday, Thursday 9am-6:30pm
Sharon’s Place hours of operation:
Tuesday, Thursday 9am-4pm

PIC is funded by individual donations, churches, organizations grants and 3 major fundraising events held throughout the year.
