About RV Help
RV Help is a website and mobile app that makes it easier for RV owners to get repairs and inspections on the road. The platform connects users with certified mobile RV technicians and provides digital tools to simplify the repair process—helping RVers avoid delays, get back on the road faster, and feel more confident in their travels.
Whether you're a full-time RVer, a weekend explorer, or preparing for your first road trip, RV Help offers a simple, centralized way to find trusted service providers without the stress of calling dealerships, searching forums, or relying on outdated Google listings.
Why RV Help Exists
For years, the process of getting an RV repaired—especially while traveling—has been one of the most frustrating pain points for RV owners. Long waitlists at dealerships, limited mobile service options, and a lack of centralized information have led to costly delays, canceled trips, and even abandoned vehicles.
The idea for RV Help was born out of these challenges. Co-founders Heath Padgett and Josiah Mann, both experienced RVers, had run into the same wall many others have faced: finding reliable help on the road felt nearly impossible. On their first trip with a used Class A motorhome, Josiah and his wife faced a breakdown and found that every provider they called was either unavailable or unable to help. After paying thousands in towing fees, they eventually found a mobile technician on Craigslist—just in time to avoid leaving their RV behind.
Heath, who spent years living full-time in a motorhome while building a remote career, had similar stories. “The RV lifestyle is incredible,” he says, “but the service experience was always the part that stressed me out the most.”
After years of working in the RV and startup world—Heath previously founded CampgroundBooking.com and The RV Entrepreneur Podcast—the team recognized an opportunity to build something better: a platform designed from the ground up to solve the service gap in the RV industry.
