RWorks allows workers either self-employed or as part of an organisation to create projects and tasks and then automatically capture progress on those tasks by matching the activities on a persons PC with the tasks assigned. The user can select whether they are working or not. Matching of activities to tasks only occurs when they indicate that they are working. For privacy, the users can indicate they are on personal time in which case the system does not record their activities. This information capture is achieved by installing a Java application onto the user's desktop. This desktop application clearly allows a user to see the breakdown of their activities for today.

Reports such as timesheets, task progress and task distribution can then be generated. Sample screenshots are as follows:
