History

In September of 2006, Lawrence & Associates Security Consultants developed a program for the San Diego Chargers to significantly reduce the amount of off field problems players were experiencing while at social settings involving alcohol. With concerns of the NFL and the San Diego community, Lawrence & Associates developed a safe ride program, which provided reliable transportation options to drive the players, coaches, and other affiliates home safely after attending a social function.  

Lawrence & Associates recognized that the Chargers had the difficult task of attempting to prevent potential off field player issues after social functions.  Since the implementation of the Safe Ride Solutions program, there has been a 100% success rate for all players who utilize the Safe Ride Solutions service.

Goals

Safe Ride Solutions’ goal is to provide a high quality, professional, confidential, and nationwide safe ride program for companies and organizations to utilize.  The use of our program would reduce unlawful and negative incidents, including the elimination of driving under the influence.
