Salisbury City Church or SCC (formerly known as Kings Church Salisbury) meet every Sunday: 10.30am at South Wilts Grammar School, Stratford Road, Salisbury, SP1 3JJ. When you visit us, it is our aim that you feel welcomed, relaxed and that you thoroughly enjoy the experience.
Each Sunday meeting will include a time of prayer, singing to God as well as relevant preaching from the Bible.
Our kids love church and each week we run four separate and fun children's groups for ages 0-11yrs (Jelly Tots Creche, Squad, Smarties and Tribe). They are staffed by our excellent and committed children's workers who have all been CRB checked. We also have a group for 11-14's which meets on Fridays and certain Sundays.
Our groups of twenties (18-30's), Mobilise, meet regularly for fun & informal events.
SCC regularly run an Alpha course. If you want to find out more about what Christians believe and how Jesus is changing lives today, then the Alpha Course is for you. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, non-threatening and enjoyable environment.
However, it's within life groups that we seek to enjoy friendship, to share one another’s lives, to apply what has been taught from the bible on the previous Sunday as well as to love and serve our local community in a variety of practical ways. Life Groups meet on various evenings through-out the week, while there is also a day-time ladies group which meets on a Wednesday.
SCC want to build a significant city church (hence the name) that loves Jesus, loves one another and serves as missionaries to the city of Salisbury and South Wiltshire. We are on a big adventure together where 'every life counts'.
