About

STJ is different than futuristic, think tank publications. We go beyond prognostications to focus on detailed solutions.

Our secondary purpose is to provide some entertaining reading along the way.

About the first Marine Issue: Ships, coastal properties and other marine and riverine assets are particularly vulnerable.  Marine security also presents special challenges because of environmental and jurisdictional issues. We have chosen marine security as the focus for our premiere issue. This Issue includes more than valuable data for marine security problems, and includes hard, documented data like ballistic and impact data for building techniques and proof that biometric security systems cannot perform as represented.  In future issues, Marine Security will be one of the regular departments for STJ in each issue.
