Living in Oregon for more than 53 years, Stella Dillenbeck and her husband moved to New Mexico in 2006 where they became involved with New Mexico Dachshund Rescue. Hearing so many stories that needed to be told, Stella began writing soon after retiring. The Adventures of Frizbee is the first in the Dachshund Rescue Series, but many more are to come.

Stella is a passionate and creative writer with a knack for writing attention-getting stories about the Dachshund breed and Dachshund rescue. She has a history of working with Dachshunds and sharing the emotional ups and downs; with their fun-loving antics and all-too-short lifespan that will leave readers alternately laughing and crying.
