GeologyofEcuador.com promotes the book by the same name by Ramon Vera, renowned Ecuadorian geologist with more that 40 years experience.  The book is setup into two sections a more general overview of the Ecuadorian Geology including road geology, traversing Ecuador North to South and West to East, Geomorphology, and plate tectonics.  

The second section titled "Detailed Studies of Geological Systems and Formations" is focuses on the Stratigraphy of the different regions and sub-regions of the country.  Each region is studied in detail and is amply illustrated with photos and photo micro-graphs.  Twelve original stratigraphic columns from across Ecuador complete the book.
